Hockey Game.

Michigan, USA.

Winter, 2007.

The basement had about 3 feet of standing water.  Fearing that the ice wouldn't be thick enough; we waited all winter for a cold spell.

The cold of the last week gave us enough confidence to trust our weight on it.

Of the 4 people that came with us; my friend & I played...

(My friend played with skates that his dad brought from the old country in 1976...)

...while Steve Davis and Don sat out and explored the building / drank 10.5% Camo.

They still had a tremendous time.

You know I was playing.  Also had to represent Boston amongst the Detroiters.

Unfortunately I was on the anti-hat team.

Makeshift net.  Note the ladder.

General action shots.  I wasn't getting very many good pictures for everyone because of drinking Camo and just generally enjoying myself in the game.

Don't worry though; there were plenty of photogs in attendance.

Zamboni.

The ice was getting pretty tore up.  It would be funny for someone who didn't know about the game to find the basement in this condition.

All in all, a fucking great time.  There was plenty of people there, even if my pictures don't show it.  I have to give thanks out to so and so for organizing it and everyone else that brought supplies.

I couldn't think of a better way to spend a Sunday.
