07/06-10/05 - Barrie Bike Trip Not even a week back in Essex County and Bart asked if I wanted to tag along to Barrie so that we could ride as we picked up Bart's girlfriend. You're driving and you got a place to stay? I'm definitely in. En route to Barrie we bought some shades...yea right.
We did however get some gaming in at the rest stop...there was another priceless picture of this guy in a Washington Capitals Jaromir Jagr Jersey, but he looked right at me when I was about to shoot him and I decided not too. To add to it, I followed him outside and he sped away in a trans am; so sorry for missing that one.
Once in Barrie there were plenty of fine girls & guys wearing goofy clothes. Full tiger shirt picture hanging out the side of the Escort Wagon. So we got to Bart's girlfriend's house & her sister wanted to know if we wanted to go to '55 Special'; the local hot-spot on Wednesday because of $7 pitchers & college people. Being away from home & wanting a drink we decided $7 pitchers sounded great. What we learned was that $7 pitchers & college girls couldn't even save this place; we waited in line for no god damn reason (no one was inside), then waited 30 minutes for a pitcher of mystery beer (you just order a pitcher) to which the pitcher tasted like watered down Coors Light. Seriously I don't like normal Coors Light, water it down & the beer was total horseshit. I also knew it was watered down because we demolished the pitchers & had very little buzz. What a waste of time & $7.
Cutting across the 400. Good thing those shitty pitchers had no effect on us.
The front of a house missing windows & doors. Almost at Bart's girlfriend's house (Rachelle); we had to cut through some forest. found a big tree & told Bart to come back for a picture. Bart fell on the way back & dropped all the water.
When we emerged from the forest; I found a bike in a parking lot & we wanted to ride it but the back wheel was jacked.
Tried to ride it anyway, but it didn't really work out.
Once back I thought it was weird how she had 2 black cats...a fun walk, but not really that eventful of a night.
We headed to Orillia the next day to hit up the skatepark. I guess we can't do any turndowns though...good because neither of us can do them.
Panoramic of the Orillia skatepark; there was also a 3ft bowl up where those kids are on the left.
While at the Orillia skatepark; Bart took a bike & started doing some kickflips in sandals.
Somebody thought it was funny how my bike wont sit flat.
The last picture of me using my camcorder. I forgot it at the Barrie skatepark; remembered 2.5 hours later, but it was too late as they left my deodorant behind along with their empty Vodka bottle...it was only a mickey so I know the kids that took it are probably little bitches...but it's my dumb fault in the end regardless.
Well a broke axle at the park in Orillia so we had to head to his mom's house in Mississauga to get another. On the way there we saw this midget.
We also saw this dude stretching; I would feel just a little awkward myself only wearing those shorts in public.
We ended up at this bike shop in Milton & they had this old ass S&M Holmes. Just ignore this if you don't bike.
Also they had a 56 tooth sprocket...Gary Young size sprocket in effect.
Lastly they had 9 photo albums of old-school stickers. This place had so much old school shit that these were too good to pass up. 9 stickers for $5.
Once back in Barrie we spotted this kid with a plastic bag on his head. So we did a drive-by with the woman yelling, "stop taking pictures!"
The same night we dropped off Bart & Rachelle at Rachelle's house. I went to a Chinese buffet for dinner & got this fortune in his cookie. "Stop Searching forever, happiness is just next to you." Quite the homo-erotic fortune when you're eating alone with one other guy.
We went out once more before we left...here we have Bart not impressed with demeanor.
Not impressed with my flossing.
Bart & Navi hammering back some Jagger. There isn't too many pictures because my camera stopped working shortly after this. So now my camcorder was gone & my digital camera stopped working, great!
We went to the Bayfield mall but I couldn't get in...No Gang Colours; it's funny how we go to such ghetto places in Detroit & the first time we see that is in Barrie.
The day before we left, we went to Collingwood at night & were excited by their skatepark for some reason. Well we went there before we left on Monday and the park was horseshit along with the fact you had to wear helmets. This was the only helmet they had for a park which had wood, metal, concrete & dirt ramps...a first for me I must say.
The housing projects next to the skatepark had better stuff to ride than the actual skatepark so we rode there for a bit; but I spotted that this was C-Wood (Collingwood) Crip Territory and we were out faster than someone drinking 5 Corona's at once at Voodoo.
Lastly a picture of Rachelle's boobs. I don't think I'm going to hear any complaints. So anyway that was my trip to Barrie. It was a good trip, the hip at the skatepark making it worth it...I just ask myself if it was worth $1500 in electronics. Oh well, whatcha going to do. (click above to return to the main page) |
